Can there ever be TOO many pictures?

Ever since I first learned of the magical wonders of photography, I haven’t been able to stop taking pictures. A lot of them. Sure, I edit when it comes posting them online, sending to family and burning little vacation photo DVDs for friends… but can there ever be TOO many pictures? Lately my family has been telling me to stop taking pictures and enjoy myself instead… hmm… but I find myself always wishing I had taken a picture of so and so… what about you? How do you feel? I saw that the more pictures the better. I’m a big fan of taking as many pictures as possible. Because the one time that you decide to forgo pictures, you’re going to miss out on that perfect shot. Take as many as you want. Posted: Mar 11, 2009 1:05pm
I do get tired of toting a camera around on travels, especially since we switched to a big DSLR, but I do love my photos when I get home. At least once a trip though, we make a point of leaving the camera in the room and going out for the evening unencumbered. It’s freeing, but I do still have that nagging ‘wish I had my camera’ feeling at times. Posted: Mar 14, 2009 3:58pm
That’s a great tip, time for pictures and time for other things. It’s definitely cumbersome to carry around a giant camera with you. I also take a lot of photos with my iPhone, more of the snapshot type… Posted: Mar 16, 2009 6:57am
I agree; that is a good idea. My boyfriend’s Blackberry takes care of the “wish I had the camera” moments quite well. Posted: Mar 18, 2009 10:34am |
