Nevada Travel Guide: Reviews, photos, & videos
Mostly known as the home state to Sin City, Nevada is a mostly arid state that lies within the Great Basin, though most of the southern portion is in the Mohave Desert and the Colorado River drainage. Founded in 1864 as the 36th state, Nevada has a fairly small population that mostly resides in the tourist areas of Reno and the aforementioned Las Vegas. FUN FACT: 87% of the land in Nevada is still owned by the Federal Government.
